News: 2010 eduWeb Conference in Chicago

07/26/2010

Jason is speaking at the 2010 eduWeb conference in Chicago this week.

The fifth annual eduWeb conference is the largest conference in the country targeting higher education content management systems (CMS). The conference focuses on "both sides of the fence" (front end and back end) regarding a website's development. Over 120 colleges and universities will be in attendance, plus over 40 design, branding, and development companies, including Google.

Jason will be speaking on the subject of "Beyond the Buzz Terms: Defining Your College Brand." His discussion is entitled "Forget Your Brand, What's the Message," and has the following synopsis:

Define Brand. Is it your logo? Your colors? Your brand statement? These served you well in the 1980s, but are inadequate today. This session will start with an overview of the evolution of brand and conclude with small group exercises to shift your thinking to Brand 2.0
