Gravity Switch is
thrilled to be recognized as a finalist in the 9th Annual Massachusetts
Innovation & Technology Exchange (MITX) Awards for the
Real Log Homes
website. Created to recognize the most innovative, effective and
compelling achievements in the development of interactive technologies,
the MITX awards competition is the largest and most prestigious in the
country.
Being chosen as a MITX finalist is no small feat, with
over 800 companies submitting their work. Real Log Homes is up against
two very high profile finalists: the Volkswagen Certified Pre-Owned
Site and the Volkswagen Passat Site. Says Christine Mark, Principal of
Gravity Switch, "If you measure yourself by who you're compared to,
then this is quite a compliment. We're proud to be in the same playing
field as 'those Volkswagen guys.'" Plus, we're the sole contender from
Western Massachusetts. Most of the other firms we're up against are
from Boston, NYC, London, LA and San Francisco, so we think it's pretty
cool that we're putting Northampton on the map!
Gravity Switch, and design partner Howell Martin Marketing & Advertising, will be recognized with the other finalists at a gala awards ceremony
attended by the interactive media industry's top professionals. Winners
will be announced at the ceremony at the Boston Copley Place Marriott
on Wednesday, November, 10, 2004.
