On Wednesday June 23, marketing, communication and advertising gurus from all over Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut gathered at the Majestic Theatre in West Springfield to acknowledge excellence and ingenuity at the '99 Creative Merit Awards. These prestigious honors were created for the purpose of maintaining a high level of quality in the communication arts. First time participant, Gravity Switch, Inc., was pleased to win medals for both of its entries in the categories of "Web Site Design" and "Interactive Multimedia."
This year, the CMAs
boasted three top notch industry professionals on the judge panel who
rated entries with the strictest and most elevated criteria in mind. By
bestowing distinctions upon those who continually challenge the
standards of performance, judges of the CMAs help encourage a high
quality advertising community in the region. Only those who were truly
deserving were awarded gold, silver, bronze or honorable mention.
Receiving
the bronze in Web Site Design and the silver in Interactive Multimedia,
Gravity Switch had judges singing their praises. Their work was
exclaimed as "high energy" and as an "excellent use of the media." They
were also complimented on their "beautiful design" and "user friendly"
interfaces. Gravity Switch looks forward to developing many more
innovative creations and plans to participate in the 2000 Creative
Merit Awards and other similar contests again in the future.
