This past weekend, I was lucky enough to take a trip to sunny California for the 4th annual DrupalCamp LA. I came from the 2nd farthest distance away, second only to an attendee from Moscow.
I was joined by close to 400 other Drupal enthusiasts for what was a fun, challenging, and ultimately rewarding trip.
In case you weren't able to make it, I'm happy to share a few things I picked up:
- Advanced Views and Views Modules
- How to maintain your Drupal site on a regular basis
- Helpful modules we weren't already using
- The Panels Everywhere module
- Publishing Events with CCK and the Features Module
I was also able to speak with a plethora of 'Drupal heads' (like myself) about their hopes, their dreams, and their biggest Drupal challenges.
Overall a great experience with a lot of knowledge shared and gained..and of course, I did make my way to the beach once....or twice.. :)
