We like to keep things interesting

At Gravity Switch we believe having a charitable spirit isn't restricted to Christmas: we're proud to be able to regularly give back to the community in a variety of ways.  

In the past we have spent the day working with Habitat for Humanity building homes for those in need, offered our services to non-profit organizations at a discounted rate, and made charitable donations to a wide range of organizations.  

In 2004 we "gave" each of our employees $250 to donate to the charity (or charities) of their choosing.  In 2005 we gave $3000 to the Red Cross for the hurricane Katrina relief effort.  This July we started our gifting with a donation of $1000 to the Hampshire Childcare Center.  

Located in Amherst MA, the Hampshire Childcare Center offers exceptional childcare, even for infants. The Center runs a Reggio Childcare program; based on a prograssive educational model that celebrates each child's unique ability to learn and communicate, even before mastering speech, the Reggio program creates an environment to help foster children's development on all levels.

We asked a parent about their experience with the Center,

"For me, it feels like I'm bringing my kids to stay with family when I bring them to the Children's Center.  The staff is amazing. They are so good at noticing and fostering what makes each child unique, it all stems from Lynne Brill, their director."

Based on the Childcare Center's commitment to children, Gravity Switch decided to contribute to the Center's continued success.
