This fall we were lucky to be able to hire Ryan Askew full time here at Gravity Switch.
Ryan is a front end web developer focused on perfecting the building blocks of a website. He thinks about advanced page usability, standards compliance, plus seamless integration with the cool new web techniques and trends coming down the pike. He also won the company contest for the most right answers on whichsitewon.com.
We started working with Ryan last spring as a subcontractor. His work was always on time and well done but more importantly, unlike many programmers he was wonderful about communicating with us throughout the process.
Within a couple of weeks of working here full-time Ryan was already swapping tips with Derek, Rob, and Katie like he'd been here for years.
Anyone that's worked with Derek knows that he does NOT put up with sloppy code from anyone. So the fact that Derek is not only willing, but excited to trade code with Ryan is some of the highest praise an HTML/CSS guy can get. Ryan's favorite tools are XHTML, CSS and Javascript. He also has HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, PHP, Wordpress and Drupal under his belt. Not to mention he has a degree in Teleproduction and Multimedia Technology.
Ryan's past freelance experience has lead to a pile of very happy clients. If you've worked with Ryan in the past, you'll know how lucky we are that he's joined us. If you haven't met Ryan yet, you are in for a treat. :)
