14 year old Northampton web development company with a solid reputation and awesome clients looking for someone to join our strong and supportive team for a long-term commitment.
The Position
We're looking for someone who's "wicked smart" and has a passion for marketing as well as a good understanding of the internet and who isn't afraid of picking up the phone. You could be brand new to the field OR have 10 years of professional experience. Your energy and ability to deliver results are most important to us right now.
Your job will be to:
- Generate "Buzz" for Gravity Switch
- Get our experts out speaking at more events
Some specific starter tasks we're looking at to make this happen are:
- Submitting press releases to traditional media
- Online marketing including link campaigns
- Setting up interviews
- Interviewing other people
- Coordinating workshops where our experts get out more
- Finding national press for some of our stories
- Making sure press releases are keyword friendly
Other duties may include:
- Writing press releases
- Writing website copy
- SEO and/or paid Adword campaigns
- Smart Social Media (whatever that means)
- Assistance writing a book
- Working with clients to assist with their marketing efforts
- Coordinating client events
- Email campaigns and newsletters
What we're looking for:
We believe that personality fit is a big piece of any working team. We want someone who will work well with our team and our clients, and also be happy working in an office with everyone who's here now.
We believe that no matter how much we interview you, we won't know how much we all love working together until we start. For this reason, we start most employees part-time, and based on performance grow it into full-time.
We hope this position will be a full-time position very soon, but if you are the right person and YOU want it to be part-time, we'd consider that too.
