USEHAZUS
HAZUS-MH is a multi-hazard risk assessment methodology used by FEMA.
USEHAZUS is a web-based resource for HAZUS User Groups around the world.
- Forum Module: allows disparate user groups across the country to communicate.
- Wiki Module: provides a place to store and share information about training and organizing.
- Freeform Module: allowed us to create contact forms easily and inexpensively
- Member Module: allows 100+ editors different levels of access to the site. Permissions are granted and administered by users in disparate countries, regions and HAZUS user groups.
- Template Permissions: EE also allows a simple interface to template editing. It also allowed us to limit what user groups can edit which templates (and which parts of templates).
Tunnel 7
Tunnel 7 merged with Gravity Switch in 2009 and remains Gravity Switch's small business web consulting brand.
- RSS tools: allows us to decrease our marketing costs by providing Blog and Podcast subscriptions
- Custom Field Groups: Utilized to clearly define differing content (blog / podcast) to allow easy integration with custom RSS feeds.
- No Design Limitations: Tunnel 7 promotes standards based web development. With some CMSes, this is hard to achieve. EE allows complete control over design and code without the overhead.
- PHP in Templates: gave us the flexibility to create custom PHP forms without using the Freeform Module.
Collective Home Care
CHC promotes a holistic approach to in home health care. They provide trainings for health care practitioners and services for people who need in home health care.
- Members Module: CHC needed an intranet to inform employees of events and trainings.
- Completely Custom Templates: EE has easy to modify user profile and member module templates. This made it easy to maintain the same look and feel across the site.
- Freeform Module: for the contact form
- Logo and photography services were also provided by Gravity Switch.
