Aqua Arts
Website Redesign

Aqua Arts, a brick & mortar retailer, wanted to establish an online presence in order to grow its business. Since they sell products that create a soothing atmosphere, they wanted a site that offers a serene & functional shopping experience for visitors, as well as a tranquil experience for their site administrators.

Our first order of business was to create a new logo and visual identity; extending the Aqua Arts brand to the web with an elegant and user-centric interface design

Highlights:

  • Equipping the site with fully enabled e-commerce capabilities, including back-end order tracking.

  • Equipping the site with a custom Content Management System so staff members can add, delete and maintain all product information themselves.

  • Offering robust search options such as height, width, material and color for an easier shopping experience.

  • Boosting sales by showing "related products" with each fountain.

  • Offering secure server check out.

After a successful launch, we instituted Search Engine Optimization and Positioning techniques to increase traffic and revenue to the site. The web now accounts for over 75% of Aqua Arts annual sales.

Check out these figures:

  • A 133% increase in search engine traffic, 55% increase in overall site traffic in first 3 months of the start of the SEOP initiative.

  • Aqua Art's "Top 10 Rankings" (e.g. the # of times they appear in the top 10 of a search result) increased 433% within first 5 months of the start of the SEOP initiative.

  • 2002 first quarter online sales were more than ALL of 2001's online sales.

  • Average monthly revenues from the web increased significantly in less than 2 years.

  • Total business sales (online and offline) has increased multi-fold and 75% of those sales are generated from the Web site.
