Polaroid
CD-ROM Presentation
Working
on a primary presentation regarding the mission of corporate design at
the company, Polaroid's former VP of Product Design called with a special
request. His graphic designer was leaving on vacation and he was looking
for a pro to finish this critical presentation.
Our team went into high gear, working nights and weekends to quickly get up to speed and meet the client's deadline - all along making sure that our design elements worked seamlessly with the "hand-off" material. Since the purpose of the presentation was to tell the story of an innovative process to fellow designers, the CD-ROM itself had to be "hot, creative and innovative".
Highlights:
- Designing
compelling background visuals to provide a "cool" setting for the presentation.
- Brainstorming,
designing and implementing attention-grabbing animations that showcased
key points, products and concepts.
- Creating,
designing and laying out 50 new interactive slides, each of which featured
animation, motion, text and graphics.
- Refining
previously created slides, for a presentation that totalled over 130
interactive slides.
- Developing
easy-to-use navigation controls that allowed the presentation to be
run with a mouse, a keyboard, or projection system remote.
- Providing "foolproof" instructions so the client could easily set up the overhead system without having to worry about any technical difficulties.
