Five Colleges

Main Site Redesign

Five Colleges, Inc. is a consortium that acts as an information clearinghouse for Amherst College, Hampshire, Mount Holyoke, Smith and UMass Amhest.  Gravity Switch completely redesigned this website, conducting extensive planning and usability strategizing, restructuring the site's architecture and developing interface design templates for all major screen types.

In addition, we created a system which allows Five Colleges to collect course catalog information from the five member institutions, in 5 different formats, and put the course info online in one cohesive, searchable database, allowing students to easily find courses throughout the five-college area.
